How Do We Get Started?

I know from my own experience, finding someone to care for our pets can sometimes feel like a big task. Whether it’s a cat who likes things just so, a dog who knows their routine, or a small animal who needs gentle consistency, my aim is simply that everything feels calm, clear and taken care of, for you, and for your pets.

Here’s how we get going:

1. Send me a message

Start by getting in touch to let me know:

  • What kind of care you’re looking for

  • Your dates

  • A little about your pets

No pressure, no commitment, just a first hello so I can see how best to help.

2. Arrange a free meet & greet

Before anything is booked, we’ll arrange a free, no-obligation meet & greet.

This is a chance for:

  • Your pets to meet me in their own space

  • You to show me routines, quirks, preferences and ask me any questions

  • Us both to make sure it feels like a good fit

You know your pets best, this is where I listen and learn.

3. Book in services

If we’re both happy to go ahead, we’ll confirm the dates and services needed, whether that’s visits, walks, or pet sitting in your home while you’re away.

4. Welcome email & pet care profile

Once booked, I’ll send you a welcome email with:

  • Login details to complete your pet care profile

  • Space to share important information (feeding, medication, vet details, routines and more)

  • Copies of my insurance documents for your peace of mind

This helps me give care that’s calm, consistent, and just right for your pets. It also means, should you want to book in another time, that you can easily update your pet profile and in the near future, see my availability and request to book.

And that’s it

From there, you can relax knowing everything’s in place, and your pets are in caring hands.
